What I've Learned Since I Became a Mommy

I've learned so much since becoming a mom! I've been a mom for 24 years now and have 4 awesome kids. I guess the biggest thing I've learned is selflessness. As a mom you sacrifice so much for your kids; time, money, energy, sleep, food, and the list goes on. Yesterday was Mother's Day, and as I looked around at all the Mom's at church, standing up in honor of Mom's, I was consumed with the thought of how important Mom's are and the role they play in their kid's lives. There were Mom's of all ages and types standing; Great Grandma's, Grandma's, single mom's, mom's married to their first husand, and re-married Mom's. All are important and all have sacrificed for their kids, whether young or old.

As a Mom, I've learned it's not about me, its about your kids, helping them grow into the person God created them to be, and through that you find out who God created you to be!
