I haven't been able to write for a couple of days. Yesterday was a travel day. We flew out of Lagos to Enugu. A domestic flight - really bumpy landing! The flight was only an hour long, but we spent about 2 hours in the airport doing check-in and stuff. Once we landed, we had a 4 hour bus ride to Kogi State, the town of Anyigba. We checked in to our hotel and then got ready for a crusade at Salem church. It was about 3 hours long. I spoke a little - my 2ND time [[speaking in public!]]
I need to back up to Sunday. Sunday I went with Clarke around to different churches while James, Sara, Denny, Zach, John and Luke went around to [[the same churches]] but in different order. I really didn't like being separated from the rest of [[the team]]. And I really didn't feel like much use to Clarke. He did all of the speaking. One church he didn't get to speak at all because we were late. We went to 4 different churches. The first one was the same church we were at the night before, Chidi's church. I felt very welcome there and afterward they walked us out to the cars and gave us all gifts; some wallets and some necklaces. That was pretty cool. Then it was the 2ND church Clarke didn't speak at and the third church was Pastor Obi's. He is awesome and I can rally see Jesus in his eyes - a real anointing on him. Clarke spoke a little then we left and went to Pastor Edith's church. [[I know Denny has a picture of me with Pastor Edith, so as soon as I get it, I will post it.]] As soon as Clarke and I walked in, we were escorted to the front - the same in all the other churches - and [[the rest of the team]] was there! I was so happy to see them! And right away, Pastor Edith called me up to speak! Aye-aye-aye! So I went up and started to speak and tears just over came me. I just told the people how much God loves them, what a blessing they are to us and so on. It was tears of joy.
We had lunch after service, there at the church. Pizza! It was good! A pizza here costs about $30 American. They also had chicken and rice prepared for us, but there was no way I could eat any after pizza! James, John and Luke had some - they said it was good, which I'm sure it was, but I was so full, there was no way.
