I'm Going to be a Grandma!!!!

Well, well, well! It has been a really long time since I’ve blogged! I have just been busy with work, Emmaus, kids, church, and not to mention, sickness. Yuk! But, that’s not the reason for this blog! The reason for this blog post is, as you read in the title, I am going to be a Grandma!!!! Yep, for those of you who don’t know, Trisha is pregnant! She is about 9 weeks along. She found out when she was 5 weeks. She is doing well. A little nausea, but not too bad. Ben is so excited! They will be great parents.

When she called to give me the news her words were, “So, are ya ready to be a Grandma?” And I replied, “Are ya telling me I’m gonna be?” And sure enough! It’s fabulous!!! Yes, I am having trouble accepting that I am old enough to be a grandma, but I am excited. I cannot wait to see her belly poke out, and then the birth, and the thought of a little one running around…so exciting!

Then there’s Grandpa Jeff!!! He’s excited and happy, and accepting of the fact that even though he just became a step-dad to four, now he’s going to be a grandpa, all in less than a year! Holy moly! And his parents words when we told them the news was, “So, we’re going to be great grandparents?!” They were happy too for the newly-wed couple.
